We’re delighted to welcome The Maverick Table to de Tafel on Tuesday 10 November 2026.
Presented by Daily Maverick and curated by African Foodways Productions, Rooted is a dinner about where we come from. Chef Gregory Henderson will cook a seven-course menu built from what grew in this country long before anyone wrote a menu, using indigenous and heritage South African ingredients. Each course is paired with a wine from George Dalla Cia.
